I have been an Audio Enthusiast (what some might call an audiophile) for over a decade now, 14 years. For the vast majority of that, I solo’d my adventure. I figured out what I liked and didn’t like, what mattered and what was inconsequential.
Sure, I read online to see other people’s points of view, but that was always just as a reference to what I might expect. I say that as I learned pretty early on that everyone’s ears are different and while there is some science behind what could be considered common ground or “good”, it was always up to my ear to make that final call.
Eventually though, that passion started to run dry. This video is about that journey and what caused that fire to be re-lit.
