Okay, it’s hard to say at this point that I don’t believe in lacquers as I’m not the proud owner of over a dozen of them. That said, when Burmester announced their Pure Sound series for the eye watering $900(!!!!), I debated internally for quite a long time over whether it was worth the purchase or not. Because let’s be honest, I have a hard enough time with the price of supersense that doubling that seems crazy.
That was until I saw which album was volume 1. Oscar Peterson’s “We Get Requests”. If it were any other album, I would have said no, but I just had to for this one.
